A storm a'coming... HDR style

It was raining at my place around 2-4 pm... Looked at the gathering clouds and thought this would be a great time to test out HDR...
Thanks to my friend, Ahmed for introducing and encouraging me try this HDR out.
Want to know more abt HDR, you can go here or Google it for more info
If you want to try to do HDR, you need to do bracketing... you can check out this site to set BKT with D50.
To render the photos to HDR, you can use Photoshop (though very d'leceh one) or Photomatix or other hdr rendering softwares...
So here is my first HDR outing.... just out of my window  . It's nothing great  but it's a start I guess 
I know my tone mapping is a bit wacky.. susah nak adjust to using it.
So please, please C&C, so that I can be come a better photographer (at HDR) huhu 
PS: Tak byk yg cun pun... ni pun kire yang ok ok jek...

I like the expression on my friend's face. Edited the colour of the tiles in the background, to make it more "romantic"

Played around with the colour balance for this picture... I like the outcome here...

Played quite a bit with the picture. Used B&W and colour balance and finally it looked gothed.

For this picture, I actually wanted to showcase the lights and the reflected light. Hence the very2x dark picture. I also liked the play of light and shadow on my friend's face.

Food photography - Something Delicious...

On the 18052008, saya pergi utk food photography workshop yg dijalankan oleh Encik Azhar Ariff. Terima kasih kerana mengadakan workshop.
Saya pergi ke workshop ni together dengan OD dan Kury. Best ah workshop. Belajar different lighting, angle, mood untuk shoot food. Belajar camner nak buat light tent dengan menggunakan barang-barang harian. Macam nak menggunakan food photography sebagai business... Banyak lah.
Oh yeah terima kasih kepada Abang Din dan Kury kena meminjamkan saya lens mereka. Klu tak pinjam, takleh saya shoot gambar kat DOF f2.8... Malu tul takde lens 50mm... ... Never mind... satu hari akan ku memiliki mu...
Mari lihat hasil tangkapan... gambar2 yg saya tunjuk besar2 ni ialah gambar2 favourite saya.Bukan keseluruhan hasil tangkapan... sila lah tekan thumbnails dlm entry ini utk melihat gambar-gambar yg lain... Harap maaf eh... tak nak entry ni jadi panjang sgt (Ni pun dah panjang sgt )

Jakarta - Bandung tripping... (late entry)

Hari tu pg bercuti di Jakarta dan juga Bandung, Indonesia.
Pg sana utk berjumpa ngan kawan college... dah bertahun-tahun tak jumpa.
